This Incubator launched by the Arab Academy of Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AAST), a regional University launched in 1970 by the Arab League, works on increasing awareness and supporting entrepreneurs. Its programs are based on three pillars : Logistics (Supply Chain Incubator), Tourism (Mashreq Tourism Incubator) and Youth (Youth Incubator).
The Center has more than one initiative to reach out for entrepreneurs and encourage innovation such as the Rally and Mints. The first being a series of training with the purpose of ideating and building a business plan with potential market opportunity while the latter is mentoring young entrepreneurs. Additionally, the center is currently focusing on a logistics incubator that is targeting entrepreneurs with at least three team members from AAST Startups receiving a series of training, mentorship as well as services to help make their business viable.
The AAST Center for Entrepreneurship has empowered +250 startups, through 340 training sessions and raised 10 million EGP in funding and cash awards.
