2023 Annual Meetings: AfDB underscored the importance of entrepreneurship

In his closing speech at the 2023 Annual Meetings in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt, on May 26, 2023, the President of the African Development Bank, Dr. Akinwumi A. Adesina, emphasized the importance of entrepreneurship for the continent's development.
He called for continuing "to focus on women and the youth, especially for skills and entrepreneurship", and the strong support for the Youth Entrepreneurship Investment Banks.
He also emphasized the importance of partnerships and resource mobilization.
